Head Pastor G Wright
Pastor Garen Wright, was born in Omaha NE, he attended Central High School, after studied at Metropolitan Community College of Omaha. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in May of 1995 at Greater St. Paul Church of God In Christ. He was baptized in March of 2002. At Greater St. Paul he served as maintenance/groundskeeper, door keeper, choir member and usher. He worked with the outreach ministries delivering Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to people in need. Later Garen moved into the church van ministry and street ministry where he realized his calling as a Minister.
In 2005 he was called on by Pastor Lee to assist in Prison Ministry at OCC in Carter Lake Iowa where he ministered to gang members and other inmates.
Shortly after, the Lord moved him to server under Pastor George Keys of New Testament COGIC from 2005 to 2007. While there he served and trained as a Minister teaching Sunday School, bible study and participated in state meetings with other churches in the COGIC fellowships. There God connected him with the Love of his life Sis Karla Archer Wright, not knowing the plans God had in store for them.
In 2008 the Lord moved the Wright's under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Murphy of Fountain of Life Ministry/Full Gospel Church Fellowship. Later in 2008 he received his Certificate of Ministry under the Leadership of Pastor Dewayne Murphey. While there he served as a Minister from 2008 until June 2014 at which time he received his license as an ordained Elder by Sr. Pastor Dewayne Murphy.
Time at Fountain of Life was a tremendous leap of faith, where God was preparing them for full time ministry. In 2016, he receive his certification as a Certified Professional Chaplain under Bishop McFarland PhD Sr. Bishop of United Association of Christian Chaplains and Counselors International, where God had opened the door for Elder Garen Wright to lead in the outreach ministry at Ambassador Health Care Facility and Montclair Health Care Facilities.
In June 2017 with much prayer and fasting, God called Pastor Garen to start, “New Life In Christ Fellowship Church” were he now serves as the Senior Pastor. All of this was possible by the call of God, the move of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit, giving all the Glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
First Lady Sis. Karla Wright was born in Omaha NE. She graduated from Central High in Omaha Ne. She then attended University of Nebraska at Omaha and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She continued her education by obtaining her master’s degree shortly after.
Sis. Karla Wright accepted Christ in 1980 at Base Chapel in Blytheville Arkansas. She severed as youth director and Sunday School Teacher for the children at Grace Tabernacle Church of God In Christ for many years. Later she went on to teach children's Sunday School at Robinson Memorial (COGIC).
Sis. Karla Wright is a virtuous and faithful woman of God. She now serves as the head Director of New Life in Christ Fellowship adult and children Sunday School department.
